Our Cancellation and Refund Policy is designed to provide you with clarity and fairness, ensuring a seamless experience in case adjustments to your travel plans are needed.

Introduction

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, requiring you to change your travel plans. Homeland Travels is committed to providing fair and transparent refund policies in such situations. This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing cancellations and refunds for all bookings made through Homeland Travels.

Payment terms

Deposit Due Per Person is $600 or 20% of the tour cost, whichever is higher. We reserve the right to request additional deposits as required by hotels and other suppliers for peak periods such (but not limited to) Christmas, New Year, Easter, and other holidays. Final Payments are due 8 weeks before the Tour begins. For reservations received within 8 weeks of the commencement of services, the entire amount is to be submitted at the time of confirmation. Reservations received within 8 weeks of the start of the tour may be subject to a non-refundable rush-booking fee of no less than $ 150 per person to cover additional expenses incurred to expedite booking.

General Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing, either by email or through our online booking portal. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
  • The date and time of the cancellation request will be based on the receipt of the written notification by Homeland Travels.

Cancellation Fees

  • The applicable cancellation fee will depend on the type of booking, the lead time between cancellation and travel date, and any specific supplier policies.
  • Fees are generally higher for closer cancellations and non-refundable bookings.
  • A detailed breakdown of cancellation fees for different booking types is available on our website and in booking confirmation emails.
  • Voluntary Cancellation: * In the event of a voluntary cancellation by the client, the following cancellation fees apply:

– 30 days or more before departure: 10% of the total booking cost.

– 15 to 29 days before departure: 25% of the total booking cost.

– 8 to 14 days before departure: 50% of the total booking cost.

– 7 days or less before departure: No refund.

– *2.2 Involuntary Cancellation: * In rare instances where Homeland Travels must cancel a tour, clients will receive a full refund of the paid amount.

 Exceptions and Special Cases

  • In some cases, full or partial refunds may be granted at Homeland Travels’ discretion for cancellations due to unavoidable circumstances such as medical emergencies, natural disasters, or government travel restrictions.
  • Documentation supporting the reason for cancellation may be required.
  • Certain suppliers may have their own cancellation policies that supersede the general Homeland Travels policy. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 30 business days of receiving a valid cancellation request, subject to supplier processing times.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for booking.
  • Bank processing times may apply depending on your bank or financial institution.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation. Travel insurance can reimburse you for non-refundable cancellation fees and other travel expenses in case of illness, injury, or other covered events.
